The Bible says... "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life." (I John 5:13).

God wants us to know that we can go to heaven, but we must do it God's way. First of all, we are all sinners. "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..." (Romans 3:23)

Because of our sin we are all under the penalty for sin. "For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23) 

This penalty means eternal separation from God in an eternal Hell. However, God does not want anyone to go to Hell, so He sent His only Son to die and pay the penalty for our sins. "but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) 

God offers Heaven as a gift, purchased with His Son's blood on the cross. God's love is so great that He made a way for our sins to be forgiven. He offers His forgiveness and salvation freely. " ...but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23) 

All you have to do is believe! "...if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

 

You must believe in your heart, calling on the Lord to save you.

"For 'everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13)
