Does God Need My Money?
This question has been asked time and time again with little to no resolve. The answer is No. In fact, scripture says He owns the cattle on a thousand hills and EVERYTHING is His.
Psalm 50:10-12
(“for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are mine. If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.”)
If God doesn’t Need my Money, Why Give?
1. We give to help further the
gospel and assure that
ministry is never hindered
due to finances...
2. We give as a testament that we are
not bound by worldly
possessions. And finally-
3. -We give not out of guilt or
being pressured, but
because God has laid on
our hearts what to give.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7
“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
